Welcome to Metsville

My son and I blog over on Some Ballyard here at MLBLogs (to my knowledge the only father and son team blogging), but he has been a White Sox fan since childhood.  Moreover, the theme of Some Ballyard isn’t to revel in one team or another, but to ruminate on baseball in general, from the sandlots to the stadiums.  Since moving to Hampton Roads I’ve become quite a Mets fan following the local Norfolk Tides, the Mets AAA affiliate.  I was doing a report on a Tides game I attended and the term Metsville came to mind.  I liked the perspective it evoked so much I decided to launch a blog devoted strictly to the Mets and their organization.  And so, Welcome to Metsville.
